Hot Crack Sealing

A long time ago we here at Pothole Patrol learned to buy the best crack sealant money can buy!
The proper sealant consists a naturnal petroleum based rubber. No ground up tires, and no hot roofing materials! As the crack sealant is heated, it is very important to maintain a consistant temperature. After cleaning and drying the cracks, the material is put into these custom made applicators (pictured). The hot crack sealant is poured into the crack, in the middle of a steel shoe. The brilliance of this design is that the hot material is constantly sheparded back into the
crack! Using a pour pot by hand, and using a rubber "V" squeegee will not give you the precise amount of control needed.
The result is a sloppy looking job, where there is more crack sealant on the outside of the crack,
rather than where it belonged, on the inside.
Cracks need to be taken care of!!
These applicators reduce the amount of sealant on any given job.
Let Pothole Patrol reduce the amount of your next crack sealant estimate!!

Apartment Complex Striping

Pothole Patrol works very closely with the property managers when repainting Apartment or Condominium parking lots.
After walking through the site we sit down and review the existing pavement markings.
The Manager could have some changes to make, or might want to hear what we think we could do to make the parking areas safer.
Carefully planned parking stall layout can also promote greater harmony among your tenants!
Properly marked Speed Bumps, and No Parking Fire Zones will keep the traffic flowing safely, and out of the way of Emergency services, should the need arise.
Allowing for "Visitor" spaces will also keep your residents happy!

Parking Lot Striping

With 23 years of Pavement Maintenance experience, we have in stock,
pretty much any stencil you need.
This past summer we were contracted to paint a newly paved, main access road at a local Elementary School.
After acquiring the blue prints, we assembled the correct stencils and scheduled the
painting to be done on a Sun.
Working on a Sun. allowed us to perform the work when traffic flow was at its' slowest.
Specifications required us to apply reflective glass beads to the wet paint.
This gives the paint a bright glow when the headlights shine across the markings at night!
We contantly strive to keep abreast of the most up to date information concerning roadway safety!

Drain Repair

Pothole Patrol is ideally set-up to help fix water run off problems!
After detecting the low area or "puddle", we excavate the area between the puddle
and the drain.
Using a long level we carefully set a new grade in the sub-base.
After installing Hot Asphalt, that has been kept at the proper temperature, we
have insured that the water will run into the drain!
This homeowner will not have any more problems with water in the basement!

Storm Drain Repair

Pothole Patrol frequently gets calls to fix a pothole next to a storm drain inlet.
We usually will find that the hole was caused by the collapse of the wall inside the drain.
Pothole Patrol is equipped to handle this problem on site!
After opening up the asphalt around the repair area, we locate the portion of the wall that has collapsed.
We then remove all loose and damaged bricks and mortar.
Once a solid surface has been cleaned, we rebuild the wall using new bricks.
Fresh mortar is mixed and the wall is rebuilt.
By keeping the blacktop hot in a temperature controlled box, we can take our time
to properly finish the repair.
After the blacktop has been compacted, hot rubberized crack sealant is applied to the perimeter of the repair.
The storm drain has now been properly repaired from the inside out!
This timely repair can save you several thousand dollars!
